Food & Nutrition Services Department plays vital role in overall well being of patients and their swift recovery by providing nutritious food to every individual patient according to his/her specific needs. The department is dedicated to meet nutritional requirements of the patients, their attendants, employees, medical staff. FNSD ensures that a high standard of hygiene is maintained throughout the process from preparation to serve the food. Food is prepared in hygienic condition and keeping in view the standards of Shifa as well as the guidelines of Punjab Food Authority (PFA). Our department has also been licensed by the Punjab Food Authority. Besides other measures, the annual medical checkups did for all food handlers in coordination with Punjab Food Authority. In order to follow best practices in FNSD, staff training is also conducted from PFA.
